• Dr. Roberto Di Salvo has almost three decades of engineering and management experience. An experimentalist by training with expertise in condensed phase reactions, prior to founding Quoherent, Dr. Di Salvo spent 25 years leading technology development teams at government contractors—CFDRC, Curtiss Wright—and tech startups—C3 Propulsion, Streamline, and Workhorse. Over his career he has been the recipient of 12 US Patents and since 2019 has been Principal Investigator on close to a dozen SBIRs working on the development of quantum computing qubits based on topological materials.

  • Mr. Reich has 30 years of engineering design and management experience. Mr. Reich has been working with Dr. Carroll for almost 10 years on developing the technology at the heart of our qubit technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Alabama and Texas and is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Mr. Reich received his master’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

  • Dr. Carroll has more than 35 years of fundamental research and development experience. He is a physicist by training with a primary interest in the fundamental symmetries of electronic materials, his research focuses on the synthesis and properties of exotic “quantum materials,” spanning conducting polymers, 2D dichalcogenides, perovskites, nanotubes, and non-equilibrium systems such as time crystals. In a spatially restricted, low-dimensional form, these systems combine local topological symmetries and global boundary conditions of material objects to yield unique, emergent quantum cooperative signatures that may soon form the very heart of future quantum information processing. He is the Director of the Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular Materials at Wake Forest University. Dr. Carroll earned his PhD at Wesleyan University, and was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania and the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart.

  • Mr. Hofgren studied at Columbia University, transferring to Emory University to complete a BA double major. He earned his post-graduate degree in Hyper-inflationary Finance from IESA. He started his career by joining the launch of an investment bank in Miami and Lima. There he restructured eleven companies over five years in the FMCG, transportation, communications, and manufacturing sectors. Later he was hired by Bank of America to develop a new business, which was sold to JP Morgan Chase, heading EMEA and building a platform for raising private equity and real estate funds. He was hired as Managing Director in 2004 at Brunswick Capital (UBS), during which time he formed businesses for the shareholders including freight stock leasing and property development. He was hired as CIO of Immo Industry Group in 2007 where he led the formation of private funds and the building of new logistics facilities for leading companies across Europe. He was a partner of Tangent Ventures from 2008-2013, advising on restructuring a portfolio of nine companies including the world leader in electrical submersible pumps for oil extraction and the regional leader in gas pipeline valves. Mr. Hofgren has been a board member since 2010 of Prince Street Group funds, a leading frontier markets hedge fund manager with ~$1.1B assets under management. Since 2011 he has been a member of the development committee of the Prince’s Teaching Institute, a charity organized by the Prince of Wales. He is a founder in Westly House, which secured the sale of a significant European wind farm. Mr. Hofgren is the founder of GFG Group Limited, GFG Limited and GFG Fund PCC Limited, which he grew to ~$500M of assets under management between 2014 and 2019. Mr. Hofgren has successfully led several MiFID main board securitizations at GFG. He was CEO and Chairman of Vordere plc for three years from 2016 to 2019, where he grew AUM from ~$1.5M to ~$150M (100x growth) and grew AUM per share by 260% via 13 acquisitions. Mr. Hofgren is a citizen of Great Britain and the United States.

  • Mr Jackson has been active in capital raising, debt restructuring and M&A advisory services since 1993. Former C-level executive of multiple operating companies and start-ups across several sectors including technology and clean tech.  In 2008 he formed Westly House Partners with Nicholas Hofgren where they raised capital for and advised on a wide variety of alternative assets, funds and investment strategies, including direct transactions and managed accounts.  In 2012 Mr. Jackson created Westly House Americas, "WHA", in Puerto Rico with focus on M&A Advisory work in the global renewables energy sector.

Mr. Jackson has advised on the disposition, acquisition and development of multiple energy assets.  He has transacted in hydro, wind and solar energy.  Recently he was exclusively engaged to structure both debt and equity for what will become the largest LNG import terminal in Northern Europe.  Mr. Jackson has also invested in several smaller scale renewable projects.
